Necklaces of Protection workshop with Tereza Bušková

Join Czech-born contemporary artist Tereza Bušková and her collaborators for a creative workshop during which you will learn more about the project and how to make necklaces of protection using beads and cloves. This magical online workshop, featuring folk singing by Karolina Wegryzn, marks the beginning of Mothers without Hands, and is open to women and non-binary people from around the world.

If you would like to make your own necklace you will need: embroidery or nylon thread, a fine needle, small beads, and a handful of cloves that have been soaked in water the night before. For Folkestone participants, free packs of materials will be available to pick up from Kollectiv and The Folkestone Bookshop from Wednesday 5 February.
